ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device they use and however they use it. This page explains how we work towards that and how to tell us if something gets in your way.

The standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard most widely used in the UK.

What you should be able to do

  • Use every page, link, question and form with a keyboard alone.
  • Skip straight to the main content with the first press of the Tab key.
  • Use the site with a screen reader, including filling in and sending the form.
  • Zoom text up to 200%, or view the site on a small phone, without losing content.
  • Read all text against its background at the contrast WCAG AA requires.
  • Turn off animations: if your device is set to reduce motion, the site's animations and flicker effects switch off.

How we tested it

On 7 October 2026 we checked every page against WCAG 2.2 AA using automated testing (axe-core), and by hand: keyboard-only use, visible focus, zoom and small-screen layouts, text spacing and reduced motion. We fixed every issue we found. We check again whenever we make significant changes to the site.

Known limitations

  • Screen reader testing. Our checks used automated tools and keyboard testing. We have not yet tested with every screen reader and browser combination, so if something does not read out properly, please tell us.
  • Third-party content. Links to other websites, such as our social media profiles, take you to pages we do not control.

Tell us about a problem
